Paola Troz - Smiling through challenges
Striving for excellence to add value.
:quality(90)/)
I cherish calm mornings with coffee, as they provide a perfect moment to pause and reflect. I love jogging outdoors to clear my mind and re-energize, while singing and reading books that inspire me often fuel my creativity. Traveling is another passion of mine—it offers new perspectives and experiences that constantly enrich my storytelling and communication skills.
My son and my family are my biggest inspirations. Their unwavering support and encouragement fuel my determination to grow personally and professionally. My closest friends are my sounding boards, always challenging me to aim higher. I also draw inspiration from thought leaders like Mel Robbins, Lisa Terkeurst, and Christine Caine, whose works continue to shape my outlook on life and work.
My career journey
As a journalist and producer, I have gained extensive experience in digital marketing campaigns across Latin America, with a strong focus on storytelling, user experience, and content creation. Currently, I serve as a change communications specialist for Enterprise Capabilities at Roche.
Roche’s purpose of “doing now what patients need next” truly resonates with me. Losing a loved one after a long medical struggle changed my perspective on life and work. It motivates me to improve communication and make a tangible difference through the projects I support.
In my role, I have contributed by supporting projects like the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology Conventions; Commercial, Medical & Government Affairs (CMG) Health Equity initiatives; the US Medical Affairs Newsletter, and CMG Omnichannel Integrated Customer Experience (ICX). Currently, I am involved in the Integrated Study Budget Management (ISBM) and Dengue Playbook creation.
Being part of a network of over 120 internal advisors at Roche is an honor. Together, we deliver tailored competencies like Transformation Enablement and Agility as a Service, always striving for excellence in adding value to our organization. What I enjoy most about working in the Enterprise Capabilities team is the people. Collaborating with such talented individuals makes every project a fulfilling journey.
One of my most memorable moments was a team-building exercise with project managers, where we strengthened our connections and shared laughter. Another highlight was supporting the Roche Children’s Walk activity, which reminded me of the power of collective action for a meaningful cause.
